How does an engagement actually run?
Every neu Intelligence engagement runs through 4 stages — assess, prototype, build, run — and starts with a working session on the real operation rather than a requirements document. The assess stage produces a diagnosis: what the process costs today, where the hours leak, and which single piece is worth automating first.
A prototype follows, shown early enough to be argued with. Clients typically see a working version in their own sandbox by week 3, and a first build goes live with real users between weeks 3 and 4. Build means wired into the stack you already run and proved against your bar, not a demo. Run is the part most studios skip: the system stays monitored and keeps being refined after launch. Nothing is quoted before the diagnosis, because a fixed price on an undiagnosed problem is a guess with an invoice attached.
