Who owns what neu Intelligence builds for you?

You own it. The prompts, the schemas, the retrieval setup and the integration code are all yours, and the codebase lives on your own GitHub from week 1 rather than being handed over at the end. Every build ships with a written handover doc and a runbook, so taking it in-house is a decision, not a negotiation.

The usual shape of an engagement: a working version in your sandbox by week 3, live with real users between weeks 3 and 4 for a first build, and bigger systems quoted honestly in the assess call rather than optimistically. Your data stays in systems you control, on infrastructure you approve, with zero-data-retention modes on the model providers — nothing is used to train anything. There is no exit fee and no month you cannot leave in.

Funding

Can an Irish SME get a grant towards the build?

Often, yes. Enterprise Ireland lists two supports that fit an AI build. Access Advice: Digital Discovery covers up to 80% of the cost of an outside expert, to a maximum of €5,000, for putting digital foundations in place or taking a first or next step in artificial intelligence. Digital Process Innovation covers up to 50% of the cost of outside expertise and an internal implementation team for new production or delivery methods. Both are for eligible Irish businesses; Enterprise Ireland decides who qualifies and the terms change, so read the current pages before you plan around them: Digital Discovery and Digital Process Innovation.

The €9,000 Digitalisation Voucher you may have seen advertised elsewhere is not on Enterprise Ireland’s list of supports any more, so check with them before you count on it. If you want to use a support, say so on the first call and we scope the work to fit it.

Responsible build

How does neu Intelligence build responsibly?

Plainly, and without a badge. Your data stays in systems you control, on infrastructure you approve, and the model providers we use run in zero-data-retention modes, so nothing you give the system is used to train anything. The codebase sits on your GitHub from week 1, so you can read every prompt and every place the data goes.

The EU AI Act is in force and applies in stages. Most of what we build for SMEs sits in its lower-risk tiers, where the main duty is telling people when they are dealing with an AI system. We tell you on the assess call where your use case sits, and we build in that disclosure and a human override from the start rather than adding them at the end. We hold no ISO 27001 or ISO 42001 certification and will not pretend to; if your buyer needs one, say so on the first call and we will tell you plainly whether we can work inside it.

Yes. Some clients come for the agent and stay for the software around it. Some come for software outright: internal tools, dashboards, web apps, integrations. Same studio, same team, same engagement model.

Only if you engineer for it. AI answer engines quote sites that are legible to them: structured data, extractable answer-first copy, clean semantics, an llms.txt map and a crawler policy that admits AI bots.
